ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE CONTENT, PROCEDURES, AND PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, REVIEW, AND APPROVAL OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

WHEREAS, Decree No. 92/2006/NĐ-CP dated September 7, 2006 of the Government on the development, approval, and management of overall plans for economic and social development, and Decree No. 04/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 11, 2008 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 92/2006/NĐ-CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 99/2006/NĐ-CP dated September 15, 2006 of the Government on inspection work related to policy implementation, strategy, planning, and programs;

WHEREAS, Decree No. 140/2006/NĐ-CP dated November 22, 2006 of the Government on environmental protection during the stages of development, review, approval, and implementation of strategies, plans, programs, and projects for development;

At the proposal of the Director of the Planning Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE REGULATIONS ON THE CONTENT, PROCEDURES, AND PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, REVIEW, AND APPROVAL OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS.

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE Decision No. 40/2005/QĐ-BCN dated December 23, 2005 of the Minister of Industry on the issuance of temporary regulations on industrial development planning..

Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, DIRECTORS OF MINISTRY DEPARTMENTS AND BUREAUS, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY DIRECTORATES OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, HEADS OF RELATED GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND UNITS, AND ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
