DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT
AMENDING CLAUSE 2 OF ARTICLE 6 OF THE DECREE NO. 95/1998/NĐ-CP DATED NOVEMBER 17, 1998 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON RECRUITMENT, USE AND MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS
REGARDING RECRUITMENT, USE AND MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
BASED ON THE CIVIL SERVANT ORDINANCE ISSUED ON FEBRUARY 26, 1998;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE- ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE BOARD OF THE GOVERNMENT.
DECREE:
Article 1. AMENDS CLAUSE 2 OF ARTICLE 6 OF THE DECREE NO. 95/1998/NĐ-CP DATED NOVEMBER 17, 1998 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON RECRUITMENT, USE AND MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS AS FOLLOWS:
"6.2 - AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR MALE AND FEMALE APPLICANTS MUST BE FROM 18 TO 40 YEARS OLD. IN CASES WHERE APPLICANTS ARE CURRENT MILITARY OFFICERS IN THE ARMED FORCES OR EMPLOYEES IN STATE ENTERPRISES, THE AGE REQUIREMENT MAY BE HIGHER, BUT SHALL NOT EXCEED 45 YEARS OLD."
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. Previous regulations contrary to this Decree shall be abolished.
Article 3. THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE BOARD OF THE GOVERNMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECREE.
Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, and Chairpersons of provincial and centrally-administered city People's Committees shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
