Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Upon the proposal of the Minister of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. Appoint Mr. Tran Chi Lien, Vice Minister of Health, to serve as Deputy Chairman in charge of the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), replacing Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong who has been assigned to another duty.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.
Article 3. The Minister of Health, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), and Messrs. Tran Chi Lien and Nguyen Van Thuong are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
