Pursuant to Decision No. 1349/BTM/QĐ dated November 7, 1998 of the Minister of Trade on the establishment of the Tender Board for textile and garment product quotas;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1405/1998/QĐ/BTM dated November 17, 1998 of the Ministry of Trade on the issuance of regulations on tendering for export quotas of textile and garment products to markets with quota restrictions;

Pursuant to Circular Joint Circular No. 29/1999/TTLT/BTM/BKH&ĐT/BCN dated September 7, 1999 of the Ministry of Trade - Ministry of Planning and Investment - Ministry of Industry on the allocation of export quotas for textile and garment products to markets with quota restrictions;

Article 1: Announcing the list, quantity of quotas, bidding price for each item (Cat.), the quantity of quotas for each region, and the maximum quantity allowed for one bidding application for exporting textile and garment products to the EU market in 2000, as attached to this Decision.

Article 2: The tendering for textile and garment product quotas in 2000 shall be divided into two regions:

- Region I: Enterprises whose headquarters are located in provinces and cities from Quang Ngai Province northward.

- Region II: Enterprises whose headquarters are located in provinces and cities from Binh Dinh Province southward.

Article 3: Enterprises participating in the tendering for export quotas of textile and garment products must pay a bid registration fee of VND 20,000.0 for each item (Cat.) they bid on.

The bid registration fee is used to cover the costs of preparing and organizing the tendering process (printing, distribution, sending documents and files, and other expenses related to the tendering process...).

Article 4:

- Bid registration period: from January 14, 2000 to January 24, 2000.

- Bid opening date: January 25, 2000.

- Bid opening location: Ministry of Trade headquarters, 21 Ngo Quyen Street, Hanoi.

- Agencies and enterprises witnessing the bid opening: representatives of the Hanoi Department of Trade, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Trade, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation, Trade Newspaper, Investment Newspaper, Industry Newspaper, Finance Newspaper.

Article 5: This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Article 6: Members of the Tender Board and enterprises participating in the tendering shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
