Regarding the issuance of industry standards
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Article 1. Now promulgates the following industry standard:

1. Scope of application This standard applies to the evaluation of sensory criteria of loose black tea produced by traditional methods.
2. General provisions Testing, weighting factors, and quality classification shall be carried out in accordance with TCVN 3218 - 1993.
3. Scoring sensory criteria
3.1. This standard uses point 3 of TCVN 3218 - 1993 as the reference.
3.2. Four sensory criteria: Appearance of dry tea leaves, color of brewed tea, aroma, and taste are evaluated separately using scales from 2 to 4, with each scale divided into increments of 0.25, where adjacent levels differ by 0.25 points.
4. Points for each criterion The points for each criterion are described in Appendices 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
