Regarding the establishment of Ho Chi Minh City Private University of Technology
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister approving the planning of the network of universities and colleges for the period 2001 – 2010;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in the report No. 1661/TCCB dated March 9, 2004 on upgrading Ho Chi Minh City Private College of Technology to university level,

Article 1. Establish Ho Chi Minh City Private University of Technology based on Ho Chi Minh City Private College of Technology.
Article 2. Ho Chi Minh City Private University of Technology is a higher education institution operating under the Private University Regulations issued together with Decision No. 86/2000/QĐ-TTg dated July 18, 2000 of the Prime Minister.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
