REGARDING THE ABOLITION OF THE APPLICATION FEE FOR ISSUING INVESTMENT LICENSES FOR FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT PROJECTS IN VIETNAM

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
WHEREAS, Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under the State budget;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN FINANCE;
DECISION:
Article 1. THE REGIME OF THE APPLICATION FEE FOR ISSUING INVESTMENT LICENSES (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE APPLICATION FEE) UNDER THE LAW ON FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN VIETNAM ISSUED TOGETHER WITH Circular No. 47 TC/TCĐN dated October 21, 1989 of the Ministry of Finance IS ABOLISHED.
Article 2. The Ministry of Planning and Investment, provincial people's committees, centrally governed city people's committees, and provincial-level Export Processing Zone Management Boards and Industrial Park Management Boards shall not collect the application fee when receiving project applications for investment licenses.
Article 3: This Decision takes effect from July 1, 1999./.
