BASED ON THE ROAD TRAFFIC LAW ON JUNE 29, 2001;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 34/2003/NĐ-CP OF APRIL 4, 2003 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION

At the request of the Director of the Transport Department and the Director General of the Vietnam Highway Administration,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE "REGULATIONS ON THE LIMITS OF LOAD FOR TRUCKS PARTICIPATING IN ROAD TRAFFIC AND ANNOUNCING THE CARRYING CAPACITY OF ROADS".

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL ABOLISH: DECREE NO. 2074/2003/QĐ-BGTVT OF JULY 16, 2003 OF THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION ON THE CARRYING CAPACITY AND DIMENSION LIMITS OF NATIONAL HIGHWAYS; DECREE NO. 09/2004/QĐ-BGTVT OF JUNE 23, 2004 OF THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION ON TEMPORARY SPEED AND HEIGHT LIMITS FOR CONTAINER CARRIER VEHICLES.

Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY’S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY’S BUREAUS, THE DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENTS (PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENTS) OF PROVINCES AND CENTRALLY-GOVERNED CITIES, THE HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THESE REGULATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
