CIRCULAR
ISSUING THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUM FOR VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE LEVEL IN THE FIELD OF MINING AND TRANSPORTATION
Pursuant to the Education Law on June 14, 2005; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Education Law on November 25, 2009;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and Ministerial-Level Agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government provides detailed regulations and guidance on the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law; Decree No. 31/2011/NĐ-CP dated May 11, 2011 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP;
Pursuant to Decree No. 115/2010/NĐ-CP dated December 24, 2010 of the Government stipulating responsibilities for state management of education;
WHEREAS, the Minutes of the Review Board dated January 6, 2010 of the Review Boards for the Framework Curriculum for Vocational Intermediate Level established pursuant to Decision No. 8769/QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 8, 2009 of the Minister of Education and Training;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Vocational Education;
The Minister of Education and Training decides:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR ARE TWO FRAMEWORK CURRICULUMS FOR VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE LEVEL IN THE FIELD OF MINING AND TRANSPORTATION INCLUDING:
a) Ship Control;
b) Marine Engine Operation.
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM FEBRUARY 1, 2012. THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUMS ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR SHALL BE USED IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TASKED WITH TRAINING THESE MAJORS AT THE VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE LEVEL.
Article 3. BASED ON THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUMS AS PROVIDED FOR IN THIS CIRCULAR, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TASKED WITH TRAINING THE MAJORS LISTED IN ARTICLE 1 SHALL ORGANIZE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFIC TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR THEIR SCHOOLS; ORGANIZE THE COMPOSITION OR SELECTION; APPROVE TEXTBOOKS TO BE USED AS MATERIALS IN THE SCHOOLS BASED ON THE REVIEW OF THE TEXTBOOK REVIEW BOARD ESTABLISHED BY THE HEAD OF THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION.
Article 4. THE DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, THE HEADS OF THE UNITS RELATED TO THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING, AND THE HEADS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TASKED WITH TRAINING THE MAJORS AT THE VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE LEVEL LISTED IN ARTICLE 1 SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR./.
