Decision No. 66/2007/QĐ-TTg on approving the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms under the People's Committee of Dak Nong Province

People's Committee of Dak Nong Province

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned agricultural farms;

Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forestry farms;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong Province.

DECISION:

Article 1. Approve the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms directly under the People's Committee of Dak Nong Province as set out in the Appendix attached hereto.

The establishment of Forest Management Boards includes:

- Forest Protection and Management Board along the border,

- Forest Scenic Management Board along National Highway 14,

- Forest Protection and Management Board South Cat Tien,

- Forest Protection and Management Board Thac Mo,

The People's Committee of Dak Nong Province shall implement in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong Province:

1. Direct the implementation of the reorganization and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms as provided in Article 1 of this Decision.

2. Decide to adjust the area and boundaries of various types of land allocated to agricultural farms, forestry companies, and Forest Management Boards in accordance with the local agricultural and forestry development plan and the development plan of each agricultural and forestry farm as proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the report No. 3196/BNN-ĐMDN dated November 30, 2006.

3. Direct relevant agencies to resolve financial issues and production plans to develop production and stabilize and improve the living standards of workers at the Duc Lap Coffee Company and Thuong An Agricultural Farm.

Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related agencies have the responsibility to coordinate with the People's Committee of Dak Nong Province in implementing this Scheme.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong Province and heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
