Pursuant to Decree No. 33/2005/NĐ-CP dated March 15, 2005 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance;
Pursuant to the Law on Issuing Legal Documents dated November 12, 1996; and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Issuing Legal Documents dated December 16, 2002;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Animal Health and the Head of the Legal Department
Amend Point b, Clause 2, Article 7 of the Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease in Livestock issued pursuant to Decision No. 38/2006/QĐ-BNN dated May 16, 2006 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development as follows:,
DECISION:
Article 1. "All infected animals must be vaccinated before being transported out of the province, except for animals transported to slaughterhouses and animals taken from areas or premises recognized as free from foot-and-mouth disease. Animals that have been vaccinated may only be transported out of the province 14 days after vaccination or within the period of protective immunity."
This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 2. The Heads of the Legal Department, the Director of the Department of Animal Health, the Heads of relevant units, and the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 3. The Director of the Legal Affairs Department, the Director of the Animal Health Service, the Heads of relevant units, and the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
