THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Quality of Goods dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government on the division of responsibilities for state management of product quality and Circular No. 1537/KCM-NN-PTNT dated July 17, 1996 guiding the implementation of Decree No. 86/CP;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Based on the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department and the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached hereto is the List of Fertilizers Required to Publish Quality Standards.

Article 2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will adjust this list at different periods to meet production and business requirements.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally-administered cities, the Heads of relevant units, organizations, and individuals both within and outside Vietnam engaged in fertilizer production and business activities in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

1. Nitrogen Fertilizers (Ammonium Nitrogen Fertilizers)

Sodium Nitrate [NaNO3];

Ammonium Sulfate [(NH4)2SO4]₄)₂ SO₄];

2. Phosphorus Fertilizers (Phosphate Fertilizers)

Molten Phosphate (also known as Tecmo Phosphate; Calcium Magnesium Phosphate)

IX. FERTILIZERS WITH GROWTH REGULATING SUBSTANCES

Various types of fertilizers containing growth regulating substances permitted for use in Vietnam, with concentrations in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development./.

Types of fertilizers used for irrigation or direct spraying onto leaves or stems to provide nutrients to crops.

IX. FERTILIZERS WITH ADDED GROWTH REGULATING SUBSTANCES

Types of fertilizers with added growth regulating substances that are permitted for use in Vietnam, with concentrations in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development./.
