DECISION OF THE MINISTER

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

REGULATING FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND STATISTICS CENTER

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decision No. 254/2005/QĐ-TTg dated October 13, 2005 of the Prime Minister adjusting certain subordinate organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Information Technology and Statistics Center and the Head of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Position and Function

1. The Information Technology and Statistics Center is a public service unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development established pursuant to Clause 2, Article 1 of Decision No. 254/2005/QĐ-TTg dated October 13, 2005 of

2. The Center shall be responsible for the application and development of information technology, library services, and specialized agricultural statistics for rural development management, guidance, and operation of the Ministry and other interested parties.

3. The Center is authorized to use its own seal and open a separate account in accordance with the provisions of the law.

The headquarters of the Information Technology and Statistics Center is located in Ha Noi City.

Article 2. Duties and Organizational Structure of the Center

The duties and organizational structure of the Center shall be carried out in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of Decision No. 44/2005/QĐ-BNN dated July 22, 2005 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Article 3. Effectiveness

The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation

The Chief of the Office, Heads of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department, Heads of related agencies and units under the Ministry, and the Director of the Information Technology and Statistics Center are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
