Regarding the issuance of the List of Rare Plant Varieties Prohibited from Export.
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated 18/7/2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Ordinance on Plant Varieties No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to Decision No. 46/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister on management of import and export goods during the period 2001-2005;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Agriculture,
DECISION:
Article 1. This Decision hereby promulgates the List of Rare Plant Varieties Prohibited from Export attached hereto.
Article 2. In each period, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will adjust and supplement plant variety names in the aforementioned List to meet production needs.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace the "List of Rare Plant Varieties Prohibited from Export issued together with Decision No. 58/2001/QĐ/BNN/KNKL dated May 23, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development."
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Department of Agriculture, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Heads of domestic and foreign agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in plant variety production and business activities in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

LIST OF RARE PLANT VARIETIES
PROHIBITED FROM EXPORT
(Issued together with Decision No. 69/2004/QĐ-BNN
dated 03/12/2004 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development).
I. Food Crop Varieties:
Rice varieties: Sticky Rice Cẩm, sticky rice variety Hoa Vàng, sticky rice Tú Lệ, glutinous rice Tám, Dự Hương, sweet rice Chợ Đào.
Parent lines of hybrid rice combinations.
Parent lines of hybrid corn combinations.
II. Industrial and Fruit Tree Varieties (excluding seeds within fruits for export):
1. Tea varieties: Local tea Shan varieties.
2. Orange varieties: Bù orange, Bố Hạ orange, Xã Đoài orange, Đường Canh orange.
3. Pomelo varieties: Five-rib pomelo, Thanh Trà pomelo, Phúc Trạch pomelo, Đoan Hùng pomelo, Phú Diễn pomelo, green-skinned pomelo.
4. Lychee varieties: Hưng Yên hanging lychee, Da Bò lychee, Xuồng golden lychee.
5. Shaddock varieties: Thanh Hà shaddock, Hùng Long shaddock.
6. Mango varieties: Hòa Lộc mango, Cát Chu mango.
7. Apricot varieties: Hương Tích apricot.
8. Dragon fruit varieties: Local dragon fruit varieties.
9. Durian varieties: Chín Hóa durian, Ri-6 durian.
