On the classification of national monuments
THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION
On the basis of the Cultural Heritage Law and Decree No. 92/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Cultural Heritage Law;
Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
Considering the Memorandum No. 1795/CV-UBND dated October 21, 2005, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phú Yên Province and the dossier of the historical site;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Heritage Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Classification of national monuments: HISTORICAL SITE WHERE THE HOÀ THỊNH UPRISING TOOK PLACE IN HOÀ THỊNH COMMUNE, TÂY HOÀ DISTRICT, PHÚ YÊN PROVINCE.
Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the historical sites classified under Article 1 of this Decision are located shall perform state management over the historical site of the Hoà Thịnh Uprising within their duties and powers as prescribed by laws on cultural heritage.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Heritage Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phú Yên Province, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phú Yên Province, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
