On the classification of national monuments
THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION
On the basis of the Cultural Heritage Law and Decree No. 92/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Cultural Heritage Law;
Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
CONSIDERING the Petition No. 690/UB dated July 8, 2005, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province and the dossier of the historical site;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Heritage Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Classification of national monuments: THE ARTISTIC ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE OF THE MIẾU ÔNG BỔN (PHƯỚC ĐỨC ANCIENT TEMPLE) IN PHƯỜNG 8, BẠC LIÊU TOWN, BẠC LIÊU PROVINCE.
Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the heritage listed in Article 1 of this Decision is located shall perform state management over the artistic architectural heritage of the Miếu Ông Bổn (Phước Đức Ancient Temple) within their duties and powers as prescribed by laws on cultural heritage.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Heritage Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province, the Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Bac Lieu Province, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
