OF APRIL 4, 2003 ISSUED BY THE JOINT MINISTRIES OF FINANCE AND EDUCATION AND TRAINING ON REGULATIONS FOR COLLECTION AND USE OF APPLICATION FEES (EXAMINATION FEES) TO ENROLL IN EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING ESTABLISHMENTS
UNDER THE NATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM
NATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM
Pursuant to the Education Law, Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to the Fees and Charges Ordinance dated August 28, 2001 and Decree No. 57/2002/NĐ-CP dated June 3, 2002 of the Government detailing implementation of the Fees and Charges Ordinance;
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Training amend Joint Circular No. 28/2003/TTLT/BTC-BGD&ĐT dated April 4, 2003 issued by the Joint Ministries of Finance and Education and Training on regulations for collection and use of application fees (enrollment examination fees) to enroll in educational and training establishments under the national education system as follows:
1. Amend the level of preliminary examination fee and talent test examination fee at item b.2, point 2.1, Section II of Joint Circular No. 28/2003/TTLT/BTC-BGD&ĐT mentioned above as follows:
- Preliminary examination (for schools organizing a preliminary exam before the official exam): VND 40,000 (forty thousand dong) per candidate/exam attempt (including all subjects).
- Talent test examination: VND 80,000 (eighty thousand dong) per candidate/exam attempt (including all subjects).
This Circular takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. Other provisions not amended or supplemented herein shall continue to be implemented according to the regulations set forth in Joint Circular No. 28/2003/TTLT/BTC-BGD&ĐT mentioned above.
During implementation, any issues should be reported to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Training for study and resolution.
