Pursuant to the Decision No. 72/2006/QĐ-BNN of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issuing the Charter on organization and operation of the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Science, which shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. VIETNAM AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE INSTITUTE

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulates the functions,
tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
WHEREAS, Decision No. 220/2005/QĐ-TTg dated September 9, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the establishment
of the Vietnam Agricultural Science Institute;
CONSIDERING the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Agricultural Science Institute, the Head of the Department of Science and Technology, and the Head of the Department of Organization and Cadres,
ENACTS THE CHARTER OF ORGANIZATION AND ACTIVITIES OF THE VIETNAM AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE INSTITUTE, which includes SIX chapters and EIGHTEEN articles attached to this Decision.
DECISION:
Article 1. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations concerning the Charter of Organization and Activities of the Vietnam Agricultural Science Institute and the Charter of Organization and Activities of subordinate units of the Institute that are contrary to this Charter are hereby abolished.
Article 2. The Heads of the Office, the Head of the Department of Organization and Cadres, the heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry, and the Director of the Vietnam Agricultural Science Institute are responsible for implementing this Decision.
Article 3. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Cadre Organization Department, the heads of agencies and units related to the Ministry, and the Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Science are responsible for implementing this Decision.
