Decree No. 72/2014/ND-CP amends and supplements Article 3 of Decree No. 18/2008/ND-CP concerning the organizational structure of Vietnam Television. This document adjusts the affiliated units of the Television Station and stipulates the positions of Director and Deputy Director.

Amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 18/2008/NĐ-CP
dated February 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating functions,
tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Television

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
At the proposal of the General Director of Vietnam Television,
The Government promulgates this Decree amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 18/2008/NĐ-CP dated February 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Television.
Article 1. Amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 18/2008/NĐ-CP dated February 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Vietnam Television as follows:

Section 1. Editorial Board.
2. Personnel Management Board.
Section 3. Planning and Finance Board.
4. International Cooperation Board.
5. Inspection Board.
6. Office.
7. News Department.
8. Science and Education Department.
9. Ethnic Television Board.
10. International Television Board.
11. Arts Department.
12. Entertainment Program Production Department.
13. Sports Program Production Department.
14. Cable Television Editing Department.
15. Youth Department.
16. Documentary and Reporting Center.
17. Television Film Production Center.
18. Archive Center.
19. Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
20. Vietnam Television Center in Hue City.
21. Vietnam Television Center in Da Nang City.
22. Vietnam Television Center in Phu Yen Province.
23. Vietnam Television Center in Can Tho City.
24. Technical Center for Program Production.
25. Technical Center for Transmission and Broadcasting.
26. Art Center.
27. Overseas Resident Offices of Vietnam Television established by the General Director of Vietnam Television upon approval by the Prime Minister.
28. Research and Application Center for Telecommunication Science and Technology.
29. Training and Refresher Center for Television Journalism.
30. Advertising and Television Service Center.
31. Computer and Measurement Center.
Television Magazine.
Units prescribed from Clause 1 to Clause 6 of this Article are units assisting the General Director; units prescribed from Clause 7 to Clause 27 are production and broadcasting program units; units prescribed from Clause 28 to Clause 32 are other public service units.
The General Director of Vietnam Television is authorized to establish, reorganize, and dissolve other units within his authority as provided by law.
Each Department and equivalent units under Vietnam Television shall have a Head (and equivalent); each Head may have up to three Deputy Heads to assist him.
The organizational structure of each Department and equivalent units shall include departments and working groups.
Article 2. Effectiveness and responsibility for implementation
1. This Decree takes effect from September 7, 2014.
2. The General Director of Vietnam Television, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
