REGULATING THE CONTENT OF EXPENSES FOR OPERATIONSOF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE

BASED ON THE SOCIAL INSURANCE LAW ON JUNE 20, 2014 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; LABOR LAW ON NOVEMBER 16, 2013;;
Pursuant to the Law HEALTH INSURANCE LAW ON NOVEMBER 14, 2008
On the basis of AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE HEALTH INSURANCE LAW ON NOVEMBER 13, 2009 and Law AT THE REQUEST OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE;THIS DECREE REGULATES THE CONTENT OF EXPENSES FOR OPERATIONS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE. 21, 2024 LABOR LAW ON NOVEMBER 16, 2013;;

Article 1. Scope of Regulation
2. VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE.
Article 2. Applicability
1. MONTHLY COMPENSATION FOR MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE IS AS FOLLOWS:
a) CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD: THREE MILLION NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND DONG;
3. Other relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals.
Article 4. Contents of Expenditure
b) BOARD MEMBERS: THREE MILLION TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DONG.
2. EXPENSES FOR ORGANIZING MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE: THE CONTENT AND LEVEL OF EXPENSES SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LEGAL REGULATIONS ON EXPENSES FOR ORGANIZING MEETINGS FOR STATE AGENCIES AND PUBLIC SERVICE UNITS.
3. TRAVEL ALLOWANCES FOR MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE WHEN MONITORING AND INSPECTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COLLECTION, EXPENDITURE PLANS, MANAGEMENT, AND USE OF SOCIAL INSURANCE FUNDS, UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE FUNDS, AND HEALTH INSURANCE FUNDS ACCORDING TO THE ASSIGNMENTS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE: THE CONTENT AND LEVEL OF EXPENSES SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LEGAL REGULATIONS ON TRAVEL ALLOWANCES FOR STATE AGENCIES AND PUBLIC SERVICE UNITS.
FUNDS FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE SHALL BE ENSURED BY VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE FROM THE ANNUAL MANAGED EXPENSES FOR SOCIAL INSURANCE, UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE, AND HEALTH INSURANCE FUNDS ACCORDING TO THE LEGAL REGULATIONS.
1. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM AUGUST 1, 2017.
Article 4. Source of Funds
2. ABOLISH THE PROVISION THAT "BOARD MEMBERS ARE ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION AS SPECIFIED BY THE PRIME MINISTER" IN CLAUSE 9, ARTICLE 4 OF DECREE NO. 01/2016/NĐ-CP OF THE GOVERNMENT DATED JANUARY 5, 2016 ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE.
Article 5. Effective Date
THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT MINISTRY-EQUIVALENT AGENCIES, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CHAIRMAN OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE, GENERAL DIRECTOR OF VIETNAM SOCIAL INSURANCE, AND HEADS OF RELATED AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECREE./.
2. Abolish the provision: "Members of the Management Board shall be entitled to remuneration as prescribed by the Prime Minister" in Clause 9, Article 4 of Decree No. 01/2016/NĐ-CP dated January 5, 2016 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Social Security. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chair of the Management Board of the Vietnam Social Security, General Director of the Vietnam Social Security, and Heads of relevant agencies and organizations shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 6. Responsibility for Implementation
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairman of the Management Council of the Vietnam Social Security, General Director of the Vietnam Social Security, and Heads of relevant agencies and organizations shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
