DECREE
APPROVING THE NUMBER AND LIST OF ELECTORAL UNITS AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTORAL UNIT FOR THE QUANG BINH PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL TERM 2004-2009
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;
At the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECREE
Article 1. APPROVING THE NUMBER OF 12 (TWELVE) ELECTORAL UNITS, 50 (FIFTY) DELEGATES TO THE QUANG BINH PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL, AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTORAL UNIT FOR THE QUANG BINH PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL TERM 2004-2009 (ATTACHED LIST).
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL, THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF QUANG BINH, THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR, AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE GOVERNMENT'S OFFICE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE./.
