Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Environmental Protection Law on June 23, 2014;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT,
THE GOVERNMENT PRIME MINISTER ISSUES THIS DECISION TO REGULATE THE LIST OF WASTE MATERIALS PERMITTED FOR IMPORT FROM ABROAD AS RAW MATERIALS FOR PRODUCTION.
Article 1. Attached to this Decision is the List of Waste Materials Permitted for Import from Abroad as Raw Materials for Production.
Article 2. THIS DECISION APPLIES TO THE ACTIVITY OF IMPORTING WASTE MATERIALS FROM ABROAD AS RAW MATERIALS FOR PRODUCTION AND DOES NOT APPLY TO THE ACTIVITIES OF TEMPORARY IMPORT FOR RE-EXPORT, TRANSFER, AND TRANSIT OF WASTE MATERIALS THROUGH VIETNAM'S TERRITORY.
Article 3. THE MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT SHALL TAKE THE LEAD AND COORDINATE WITH RELATED MINISTRIES AND SECTORS IN DEVELOPING AND ISSUING NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR WASTE MATERIALS LISTED IN THE ATTACHED LIST OF WASTE MATERIALS PERMITTED FOR IMPORT FROM ABROAD AS RAW MATERIALS FOR PRODUCTION.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM FEBRUARY 5, 2015.
Article 5. THE MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING, INSPECTING, AND MONITORING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECISION.
THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-LEVEL AGENCIES, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-RELATED AGENCIES, CHAIRMEN OF PROVINCE AND CITY PEOPLE'S COUNCILS UNDER THE DIRECT CONTROL OF THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, AND ASSOCIATED ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
