Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 15, 2001 of the 10th National Assembly, 10th session;

Pursuant to the Civil Procedure Code 2004;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 32/2004/QH11 dated June 15, 2004 of the National Assembly on implementing the Civil Procedure Code;

Considering the proposal of the President of the Supreme People's Court,

RESOLUTION:

Article 1: The following people's courts at district, urban district, town, and provincial city levels shall exercise jurisdiction to resolve civil cases as stipulated in Article 33 of the Civil Procedure Code from January 1, 2005:

Article 2: The People's Courts of districts, cities, towns, and provincial cities named in Article 1 shall be responsible for implementing this Resolution.

Article 3: The Government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Resolution within their respective functions and powers./.
