DECREE
ISSUING THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC SECTORS SYSTEM
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
BASED ON THE STATUTE ON ACCOUNTING AND STATISTICS ON MAY 10, 1988;
TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF MANAGEMENT WORK AND BE IN LINE WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE GENERAL STATISTICAL DEPARTMENT.
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW WE ISSUE THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC SECTORS SYSTEM INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING 20 PRIMARY SECTORS:
1. AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY;
2. FISHERIES;
3. MINERAL EXPLORATION INDUSTRY;
4. MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY;
5. ELECTRICITY, GAS, AND WATER PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION;
6. CONSTRUCTION;
7. TRADE, MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIRS, MOTORCYCLE REPAIRS, PERSONAL AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS REPAIRS;
8. HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS;
9. TRANSPORTATION, WAREHOUSING, AND COMMUNICATIONS;
10. FINANCE AND CREDIT;
11. SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES;
12. ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PROPERTY TRADING AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES;
13. STATE ADMINISTRATION AND NATIONAL DEFENSE, COMPULSORY SOCIAL SECURITY;
14. EDUCATION AND TRAINING;
15. HEALTHCARE AND SOCIAL ASSISTANCE ACTIVITIES;
16. CULTURAL AND SPORT ACTIVITIES;
17. PARTY, ORGANIZATION, AND ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES;
18. PERSONAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES;
19. DOMESTIC WORK EMPLOYMENT ACTIVITIES IN PRIVATE HOUSEHOLDS;
20. ACTIVITIES OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS.
Article 2. BASED ON THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC SECTORS SYSTEM AT THE PRIMARY LEVEL, THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE GENERAL STATISTICAL DEPARTMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIFYING AND GUIDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SECONDARY, TERTIARY, AND QUATERNARY SECTORS.
Article 3. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM JANUARY 1, 1994, AND ALL PREVIOUS DOCUMENTS CONTRADICTING THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 4. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
