DECREE-LAW
On establishing certain Military Courts in Phan Thiet, Decree-Law No. 77-C dated December 28, 1945 of the President of the Provisional Government
PRESIDENT OF THE VIETNAMESE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
In response to telegram No. 34 TP from the People's Committee of Binh Thuan requesting the establishment of a Military Court in Phan Thiet according to the regulations set forth in Decree-Law dated September 13, 1945.
In response to telegram No. 147 from the Central Judicial Department indicating agreement with the People's Committee of Binh Thuan.
In accordance with Decree-Law dated September 13, 1945 establishing Military Courts and Decree-Law dated September 29, 1945 setting up a Military Court in Nha Trang.
Considering the special circumstances in southern Central Vietnam.
At the request of the Minister of Justice.
After deliberation by the Government Council on December 21, 1945.
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article I: Establish an additional Military Court in Phan Thiet according to the regulations set forth in Decree-Law dated September 13, 1945.
Article II: The jurisdiction of the Military Courts at Quang Ngai, Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet shall be determined by a decree of the Central People's Committee after consulting with the Chief Justices and Procurators of the Superior Court of Thuận Hoá.
Article III: Any Decree-Laws contrary to this Decree-Law are hereby annulled.
Article IV: The Ministers of Defense, Interior, and Justice, and the Central People's Committee shall enforce this Decree-Law accordingly.
