Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance promulgated on August 8, 2001;
At the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department,
DECISION:
Article 1
a) Formal registration: Four active ingredients with four trade names (including two active ingredients with two trade names for insecticides, one active ingredient with one trade name for fungicides, and one active ingredient with one trade name for growth regulators) into the list of plant protection chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam (with attached list).
b) Supplementary registration: One hundred sixty-one types of chemicals (including seventy types of insecticides, fifty-five types of fungicides, twenty-three types of herbicides, nine types of snail killers, and four types of growth regulators) into the list of plant protection chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam (with attached list).
c) Special case registration: Forty-five types of biological origin chemicals (including twenty-seven types of insecticides, nine types of fungicides, seven types of growth regulators, one type of snail killer, and one type of termite killer) into the list of plant protection chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam (with attached list).
Article 2. The export and import of the plant protection chemicals issued together with this decision shall be carried out in accordance with Circular 62/2001/TT-BNN dated June 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the export and import of goods under the specialized agricultural management according to Decision 46/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister on the management of export and import of goods during the period of 2001-2005 and Decision No. 145/2002/QĐ-BNN dated December 18, 2002 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the issuance of regulations on procedures for registration; production, processing, bottling, packaging; export, import; trading; storage, transportation; use; destruction; drug labels; packaging; advertising seminars for plant protection chemicals.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. The Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Head of the Ministry's Office, Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this decision./.
