DECISION
Regarding the supplementary classification and renaming of national monuments
THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION
On the basis of the Cultural Heritage Law and Decree No. 92/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Cultural Heritage Law;
Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
Considering the Memorandum No. 2208/CV/UB-VX dated November 14, 2005 from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province and the monument dossier;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Heritage Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. National monument classification: historical monument - Nguyen Du Commemorative Site, Xuan Nghi District, Ha Tinh Province
Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the monuments classified under Article 1 of this Decision are located shall perform state management over the historical monument Nguyen Du Commemorative Site within their respective duties and powers as prescribed by laws on cultural heritage.
Article 3. This Decision replaces Decision No. 313/VH-QĐ dated April 28, 1962 of the Minister of Culture (now Ministry of Culture and Information) classifying the Nguyen Du Memorial Area, Xien Dian Commune, Xuan Nghi District, Ha Tinh Province as a national monument.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 5. The Director of the Office, the Director of the Heritage Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, the Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Ha Tinh Province, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
