Circular No. 79/2024/TT-BTC Abolishes Joint Circulars of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issued

CIRCULAR

Repeals joint Circulars issued by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment

Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents dated June 22, 2015; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents dated June 18, 2020;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for implementing the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents; Decree No. 154/2020/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for implementing the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents; Decree No. 59/2024/NĐ-CP dated May 25, 2024 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for implementing the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents which has been amended and supplemented certain articles according to Decree No. 154/2020/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government;

Pursuant to Decree No. 158/2016/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2016 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Minerals Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 53/2020/NĐ-CP dated May 5, 2020 of the Government stipulating environmental protection fees for wastewater;

Pursuant to Decree No. 14/2023/NĐ-CP dated April 20, 2023, issued by the Government, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

Based on the proposal of the Director of the Department of Management and Supervision of Tax, Fee, and Charge Policies;

After reaching agreement with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Minister of Finance issues this Circular to repeal the joint Circulars issued by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.

Article 1. Repeal entirely two joint Circulars

Repeal entirely the following two joint Circulars:

1. Joint Circular No. 135/2008/TTLT-BTC-BTNMT dated December 31, 2008 of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment guiding methods for determining value, payment methods, and procedures for paying for the use of data and information on the results of state mineral surveys and exploration.

2. Joint Circular No. 63/2013/TTLT-BTC-BTNMT dated May 15, 2013 of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment guiding the implementation of Decree No. 25/2013/NĐ-CP dated March 29, 2013 of the Government on environmental protection fees for wastewater.
