Issuing the National Defense - Security Education Program for Intermediate Vocational Level

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2002/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to the conclusion recorded in the Minutes of Acceptance No. 1824/TM-HĐTĐ dated November 22, 2007 of the Appraisal Board for Programs, Textbooks, and Teaching Materials on National Defense - Security Education;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of National Defense Education,

DECISION:

Article 1. The National Defense - Security Education Program for Intermediate Vocational Level is hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace the subject course program for universities and colleges issued together with Decision No. 12/2000/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated May 9, 2000 of the Minister of Education and Training. Any previous provisions contrary to this Decision shall be abolished.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Departments of National Defense Education and Professional Education, heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training; directors of provincial education and training departments; principals of intermediate vocational schools; directors of universities and academies, and principals of universities and colleges offering intermediate vocational level training are responsible for implementing this Decision.
