ISSUING REGULATIONS ON PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF PORCINE REPRODUCTIVE AND RESPIRATORY SYNDROME (PRRS) WHEREAS the Veterinary Law issued on April 29, 2004;
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS the Decree No. 33/2005/NĐ-CP of March 15, 2005 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Veterinary Law;
WHEREAS Decision No. 719/QĐ-TTg of June 5, 2008 of the Prime Minister on policies to support prevention and control of animal diseases;
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
AT THE REQUEST OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY SERVICES.
THESE REGULATIONS ON PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF PORCINE REPRODUCTIVE AND RESPIRATORY SYNDROME (PRRS) ARE ISSUED HERETO WITH THIS DECISION.
DECISION:
Article 1. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE STATE GAZETTE.
Article 2. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE LEGAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY SERVICES, THE HEADS OF RELATED UNITS, AND THE DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry’s Office, the Director of the Legal Department, the Director of the Animal Health Service, the Heads of relevant units, and the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development under the direct jurisdiction of the central government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
