Issuing the National Defense - Security Education Program for Bachelor's and College Levels

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to the conclusion recorded in the Minutes of Acceptance No. 1824/TM-HĐTĐ dated November 22, 2007 of the Appraisal Board for Programs, Textbooks, and Teaching Materials on National Defense and Security Education;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of National Defense Education,

DECISION:

Article 1The National Defense and Security Education Program for bachelor's and college levels is hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace the subject course program for national defense education issued together with Decision No. 12/2000/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated May 9, 2000 of the Minister of Education and Training. Any previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Departments of National Defense Education, Higher Education and Postgraduate Education, heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training; rectors of universities and academies; presidents of colleges and universities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
