Regarding the supplementation of beneficiaries for long-term disability allowance; additional allowance for single retirees and civil servants who are former military personnel retiring
At the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs;
- Supplement the beneficiaries of long-term disability allowance to include those who have retired and are currently or have previously received disability allowance if they have worked for at least 20 years (excluding conversion according to coefficient).
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Labour Code dated June 23, 1994;
Those within this category who are currently receiving disability allowance will continue to receive monthly allowance until half of their converted working period has been reached.
DECISION:
Article 1. Those within this category who stopped receiving allowance after March 1, 1990 will be eligible to resume receiving allowance from the date this Decision takes effect.
- Retirees living alone without direct relatives to care for them, with no other sources of income, and whose pension is less than 180,000 VND/month shall receive additional allowance to bring their pension up to 180,000 VND/month.
- Military personnel and police officers who have served for at least 20 years in the Vietnam People's Army or the People's Public Security Force, and who transferred to work in Party agencies, State agencies, Vietnam Fatherland Front organizations, and social organizations funded by the State budget before April 1993, and then retired or left due to loss of labor capacity, in addition to receiving their pension and monthly allowance according to general regulations on salary and pay grade, shall also receive additional monthly allowance as follows: For each year of service in the People's Army or People's Public Security Force, they shall receive 1% of the minimum wage.
Article 2. - This Decision shall take effect from January 1, 1996, and the Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs shall guide its implementation.
Article 3. - The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Government Agencies, Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees under the Central Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 4. CHANCELLOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
Article 5. The Minister, Head of a ministerial-level agency, Head of an agency under the Government, Chair of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
