Regarding the approval of the United Nations Convention
on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM
On the basis of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Law on Ratification, Accession and Implementation of International Treaties No. 41/2005/QH11;
At the proposal of the President of the State in the Report No. 02/TTr-CTN dated June 2, 2014 on the approval of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities;
Considering the Report No. 266/BC-CP dated July 29, 2014 of the Government, the Report No. 4528/BC-UBĐN13 dated October 22, 2014 of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee, the Report No. 504/BC-CP dated November 20, 2014 of the Government, and the opinions of the National Assembly deputies;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
Approves the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed on October 22, 2007 at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Article 2
The Socialist Republic of Vietnam commits to implement the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in all fields.
Article 3
The Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and relevant agencies and organizations within their respective functions and powers shall organize the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Article 4
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the National Ethnic Council, the Committees of the National Assembly, and the National Assembly deputies shall supervise the implementation of this Resolution.
This Resolution was adopted by the Thirteenth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its eighth session on November 28, 2014./.
