Approving the proposal of the President of the Supreme People's Court on the establishment of the Courts of Appeal, bureaus, departments, and equivalent agencies, and the press agency of the Supreme People's Court
THE STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 203/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the People's Courts No. 34/2024/QH15 amended and supplemented by Law No. 81/2025/QH15;
Considering the proposal of the President of the Supreme People's Court at the Report No. 573/TTr-TANDTC dated June 3, 2025, and the Review Report No. 546/BC-UBPLTP15 dated June 23, 2025 of the Committee for Legal Affairs and Justice of the National Assembly;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1. Approving the proposal of the President of the Supreme People's Court on the establishment of the Courts of Appeal, bureaus, departments, and equivalent agencies, and the press agency of the Supreme People's Court
1. The Courts of Appeal of the Supreme People's Court include:
a) The Court of Appeal of the Supreme People's Court in Hanoi;
b) The Court of Appeal of the Supreme People's Court in Da Nang;
c) The Court of Appeal of the Supreme People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City.
2. The bureaus, departments, and equivalent agencies of the Supreme People's Court include:
a) Office;
b) Planning and Finance Bureau;
c) Information Technology Bureau;
d) Department of Criminal Supervision and Inspection;
đ) Department of Civil Supervision and Inspection;
e) Department of Commercial, Bankruptcy, Labor, Family, and Juvenile Supervision and Inspection;
g) Department of Administrative Supervision and Inspection;
h) Department of Legal Affairs and Scientific Management;
i) Department of Organization and Cadres;
k) Department of International Cooperation;
l) Inspectorate of the Supreme People's Court.
3. The press agency of the Supreme People's Court includes:
a) Justice Newspaper;
b) People's Court Magazine.
4. Based on this Resolution, the President of the Supreme People's Court shall decide on the establishment, define the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the agencies and units specified in Clauses 1, 2, and 3 of this Article; specify the territorial jurisdiction of the Courts of Appeal of the Supreme People's Court.
Article 2. Effective Date
1. This Resolution takes effect from July 1, 2025.
2. Resolution No. 57/2024/UBTVQH15 dated November 15, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly approving the proposal of the President of the Supreme People's Court on the bureaus, departments, and equivalent agencies, and the press agency of the Supreme People's Court, and Resolution No. 69/2025/UBTVQH15 dated February 10, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly amending and supplementing Clause 1 of Article 1 of Resolution No. 57/2024/UBTVQH15 dated November 15, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly shall cease to be effective from the date this Resolution takes effect.
Article 3. Implementation Organization
The President of the Supreme People's Court is responsible for implementing this Resolution./.
This Resolution was adopted by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the fifteenth session, on June 27, 2025.
