PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Control at Document No. 71/TTr-CLBTW dated July 10, 2001, and the Ministry of Finance at Document No. 6413 TC/NSNN dated July 9, 2001,
ON DECIDE:
Article 1. Supplementing VND 60 billion (sixty billion dong) from the central budget reserve for the year 2001 to assist the northern mountainous and midland provinces in the Northern region in addressing the aftermath of natural disasters, stabilizing people's lives quickly, restoring production and infrastructure, allocated as follows:
- Lao Cai Province: VND 7 billion
- Tuyen Quang Province: VND 20 billion
- Ha Giang Province: VND 2 billion
- Yen Bai Province: VND 3 billion
- Vinh Phuc Province: VND 5 billion
- Phu Tho Province: VND 2 billion
- Thai Nguyen Province: VND 10 billion
- Bac Kan Province: VND 5 billion
- Cao Bang Province: VND 3 billion
- Quang Ninh Province: VND 3 billion
The Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the aforementioned provinces shall be responsible for using this funding in accordance with regulations.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, the Head of the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Control, and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the provinces: Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, and Quang Ninh shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
