Regarding the amendment of the scope of application of insurance rules, clauses, and premium schedules
BASED ON DECREE NO. 178/CP DATED OCTOBER 28, 1994 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE;
Pursuant to Decree No. 100/CP dated December 18, 1993 of the Government on insurance expenses;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Finance of Banks and Financial Institutions;
DECISION:
Article 1.- Now permits insurance enterprises permitted to operate in Vietnam to apply insurance rules, clauses, and premium schedules issued by the Ministry of Finance that are still valid (as attached list).
Article 2.- The phrases "Vietnam Insurance Corporation (Bao Viet)" or "Bao Viet" as the insurer shall be amended to read: "insurance enterprises".
Article 3.- The application of the aforementioned rules, clauses, and premium schedules must comply with the list of permitted insurance businesses recorded in the Certificate of Qualification and Conditions for Operating Insurance Business issued by the Ministry of Finance. For compulsory insurance businesses, for other insurance businesses, if enterprises do not apply the aforementioned rules, clauses, and premium schedules, they must submit their own rules, clauses, and premium schedules for approval by the Ministry of Finance before implementation.
Article 4.- This Decision takes effect from the date of signing. The Director of the Department of Finance of Banks and Financial Institutions, the Head of the Ministry of Finance's Office, and the Heads of related units are responsible for supervising and inspecting the implementation of this Decision./.
