Regarding the issuance of the "List of Livestock Feed Products Required to Publish Quality Standards" 

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Quality Goods Law dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86-CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government on the division of responsibilities for state management of goods quality;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15-CP dated March 19, 1996 of the Government on the management of livestock feed;

Pursuant to Decision No. 86/2001/QĐ-BNN dated August 23, 2001 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the temporary regulations regarding the publication of quality standards for agricultural goods;

At the proposal of the Director of the Agricultural Extension Department and the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Now hereby promulgates with this decision the "List of Livestock Feed Products Required to Publish Quality Standards."

Article 2. These standards shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, the Director of the Agricultural Extension Department, the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, enterprises producing and trading in livestock feed, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this decision./.

LIST OF LIVESTOCK FEED PRODUCTS

REQUIRED TO PUBLISH QUALITY STANDARDS

I. List of livestock feed products required to publish quality standards:

1. Complete mixed feeds and concentrated feeds for poultry, pigs, dairy cows, beef cattle, and rabbits

2. Various supplementary feeds

Vitamin premix

Mineral premix

Vitamin-mineral premix

Various amino acids

3. Special feeds: biochemical preparations added to livestock feed such as digestive enzymes, flavor enhancers, colorants, antioxidants, mold inhibitors, and antibacterial agents.

II. List of livestock feed products encouraged to publish quality standards:

1. Complete mixed feeds and concentrated feeds for sheep, buffalo, and goats

2. Feeds for pet animals (dogs, cats, birds)

3. Feeds for working animals (dogs, horses).
