ISSUING THE "NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON CRYPTOGRAPHIC TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS USED IN CIVIL CRYPTOGRAPHIC PRODUCTS BELONGING TO THE GROUP OF DATA STORAGE SECURITY PRODUCTS"

for use in civil cryptographic products belonging to the group of data storage security products

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

||| Pursuant to the Cybersecurity Law dated November 19, 2015;

BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 127/2007/NĐ-CP OF AUGUST 1, 2007 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE LAW ON STANDARDS AND TECHNICAL REGULATIONS; AMENDED AND COMPLEMENTED BY SOME PROVISIONS IN THE DECREE NO. 78/2018/NĐ-CP OF MAY 16, 2018 OF THE GOVERNMENT;

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2022/NĐ-CP dated November 30, 2022 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of National Defense;

Pursuant to Decree No. 09/2014/NĐ-CP dated January 27, 2014 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the General Office for Official Communications under the Government;

At the proposal of the Director of the General Office for Official Communications under the Government;

THE MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENSE ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR TO ESTABLISH THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON CRYPTOGRAPHIC TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS USED IN CIVIL CRYPTOGRAPHIC PRODUCTS BELONGING TO THE GROUP OF DATA STORAGE SECURITY PRODUCTS.

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR IS THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON CRYPTOGRAPHIC TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS USED IN CIVIL CRYPTOGRAPHIC PRODUCTS BELONGING TO THE GROUP OF DATA STORAGE SECURITY PRODUCTS.

DESIGNATION: QCVN 15:2023/BQP.

Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM JANUARY 15, 2024.

Article 3. The Director of the General Office for Official Communications under the Government, heads of agencies, units, organizations, and individuals concerned shall be responsible for implementing this Circular.
