Prescribing the levels of preferential allowances

for persons who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons with Meritorious Service to the Revolution dated June 29, 2005; the Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons with Meritorious Service to the Revolution dated July 16, 2012; Pursuant to Resolution No. 49/2017/QH14 of the National Assembly dated November 13, 2017 on the State budget estimate for 2018; The Government promulgates this Decree prescribing the levels of preferential allowances for persons with meritorious service to the revolution.

Article 1. Standard level for determining preferential allowances for persons with meritorious service to the revolution and preferential allowances

Decree No. 07/2021/NĐ-CP

1. The standard level for determining the levels of preferential allowances for persons with meritorious service to the revolution prescribed in this Decree is 1,515,000 VND.2. The preferential allowances for persons with meritorious service to the revolution include:a) The levels of preferential allowances for persons with meritorious service to the revolution as prescribed in Appendix I attached hereto; b) The disability allowance for war invalids and persons receiving benefits equivalent to war invalids as prescribed in Appendix II attached hereto;

1. This Decree takes effect from August 27, 2018.

2. Decree No. 70/2017/NĐ-CP of the Government dated June 6, 2017 prescribing the levels of preferential allowances for persons with meritorious service to the revolution shall cease to be effective from July 1, 2018.

3. The levels of preferential allowances prescribed in this Decree shall be implemented from July 1, 2018.

The Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of central government agencies, chairpersons of provincial and centrally-administered city people's committees are responsible for implementing this Decree./.

b) The level of disability allowance for war invalids and persons entitled to benefits similar to those of war invalids as prescribed in Appendix II attached to this Decree;

c) The levels of disability allowances for Class B war invalids as prescribed in Appendix III attached to this Decree.

Article 2. Implementation Funding

The central budget ensures funding for the implementation of the allowance system prescribed in this Decree.

Article 3. Effectiveness

1. This Decree takes effect from August 27, 2018.

2. Decree No. 70/2017/NĐ-CP dated June 6, 2017 of the Government stipulating the levels of allowances and preferential subsidies for persons who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution shall cease to be effective from July 1, 2018.

3. The levels of allowances and preferential subsidies stipulated in this Decree shall be implemented from July 1, 2018.

Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation

The Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of governmental agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
