Issuing Regulations on Training to Improve Competence

for Vocational College Teachers

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 166/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 16, 2004 of the Government stipulating the responsibilities for state management of education;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to Decision No. 09/2005/QĐ-TTg dated January 11, 2005 of the Prime Minister approving the project "Building and Improving the Quality of the Teaching Staff and Educational Management Personnel for the Period 2005-2010".

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Vocational Education,

DECISION:

Article 1. These Regulations on Training to Improve Competence for Vocational College Teachers are hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Department of Vocational Education, the heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, the directors of provincial Departments of Education and Training, the heads of central ministries and sectors, the Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities, the Principals of vocational colleges, and the heads of educational institutions offering vocational college training are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
