Regulations on amending and supplementing the List of Aquatic Species in Danger of Extinction that Need to be Protected, Restored, and Developed issued together with Decision No. 82/2008/QĐ-BNN dated July 17, 2008 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Based on the Fisheries Law dated November 26, 2003;

At the proposal of the Director General of the Fisheries General Department,

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby promulgates:

Amending and supplementing certain provisions in Part II of the List of Aquatic Species in Danger of Extinction in Vietnam issued together with Decision No. 82/2008/QĐ-BNN dated July 17, 2008 as follows:

Article 1. 1. Supplementing aquatic species in danger of extinction in Vietnam (Annex 1).

2. Amending the Vietnamese name and scientific name of aquatic species in danger of extinction in Vietnam (Annex 2).

3. Amending the level of threat of aquatic species in danger of extinction in Vietnam (Annex 3).

4. Removing aquatic species from the list of species in danger of extinction in Vietnam (Annex 4).

This Circular takes effect forty-five days from the date of signature.

Article 2. The Heads of the Office of the Ministry, the Director General of the Fisheries General Department, the Director of the Fishery Resources Exploitation and Protection Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces/Cities directly under the Central Government, organizations, and individuals involved in related activities shall be responsible for implementing this Circular./.
