Issuing the National Defense and Security Education Program
in secondary schools
Pursuant to the Law on National Defense and Security dated June 19, 2013;
Pursuant to Decree No. 123/2016/NĐ-CP dated September 1, 2016 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 13/2014/NĐ-CP dated February 25, 2014 of the Government detailing and providing implementation measures for the Law on National Defense and Security;
In accordance with the Minutes of the Examination Board's review of the National Defense and Security Education Program in secondary schools dated December 14, 2016; Based on the proposal of the Director of the Department of National Defense Education;
The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular to promulgate the National Defense and Security Education Program
in secondary schools Article 1.
. This Circular hereby promulgates the National Defense and Security Education Program in secondary schools attached hereto.Article 2
. This Circular takes effect from March 1, 2017 and replaces Decision No. 79/2007/QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 24, 2007 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the National Defense and Security Education Program for secondary schools.Article 3
. The Director of the Office, Heads of Departments of National Defense Education and Secondary Education at the Ministry of Education and Training; Directors of provincial education and training departments; Principals of secondary schools are responsible for implementing this Circular.DISTRIBUTION:
