CIRCULAR

Repealing certain legislative regulatory documents issued by the Minister
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues

Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Regulatory Acts dated June 22, 2015; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Acts in 2020;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and implementing measures of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Acts; Decree No. 154/2020/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and implementing measures of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Acts;

Pursuant to Decree No. 79/2017/NĐ-CP dated July 17, 2017, of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;

At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Department;

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues this Circular abolishing certain legislative regulatory acts issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Article 1. Abolish certain legislative regulatory acts issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism

1. Circular No. 05/2000/TT-BXD dated June 27, 2000 of the Minister of Construction guiding the implementation of support for people participating in revolutionary activities before the August Revolution of 1945 to improve housing pursuant to Decision No. 20/2000/QĐ-TTg dated February 3, 2000 of the Prime Minister.

1. Circular No. 09/2014/TT-BVHTTDL dated September 29, 2014 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism stipulating the work of protecting state secrets in the cultural, sports, and tourism sector.

2. Circular No. 16/2016/TT-BVHTTDL dated December 27, 2016 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism guiding the implementation of Decision No. 650/QĐ-TTg dated April 25, 2016 of

Circular No. 09/2019/TT-BVHTTDL dated September 9, 2019 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism stipulating the criteria for the position of Director and Deputy Director of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Departments of Culture and Sports; Tourism Departments under the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities.

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2021.

Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation

The Head of the Legal Department, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry, Directors of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture and Sports, Tourism Departments of provinces and centrally-administered cities, Heads of agencies and units, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
