DECREE

Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes, establishment of communes

belonging to Phù Ninh district, Thanh Ba district; determination of the administrative boundaries

of Tân Đức commune under Việt Trì city, Phú Thọ province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Upon the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phú Thọ province,

DECREE:

Article 1. Adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes, establishment of communes belonging to Phù Ninh district, Thanh Ba district; determination of the administrative boundaries of Tân Đức commune under Việt Trì city, Phú Thọ province as follows:

1. Establish Lệ Mỹ commune under Phù Ninh district based on the adjustment of 770.71 hectares of natural area and 3,618 population from Phú Mỹ commune.

Lệ Mỹ commune has 770.71 hectares of natural area and 3,618 population.

Administrative boundary of Lệ Mỹ commune: East borders Son Dương district, Tuyên Quang province; West borders Liên Hoa commune, Phù Ninh district; South borders Trị Quận commune, Trung Giáp commune, Phù Ninh district; North borders Phú Mỹ commune, Phù Ninh district.

2. Establish Vân Lĩnh commune under Thanh Ba district based on the adjustment of 895.02 hectares of natural area and 2,906 population from Thanh Vân commune.

Vân Lĩnh commune has 895.02 hectares of natural area and 2,906 population.

Administrative boundary of Vân Lĩnh commune: East borders Đông Lĩnh commune, Thanh Ba district, Tiêu Sơn commune, Minh Tiến commune, Đoan Hùng district; West borders Yên Kỳ commune, Hạ Hòa district; South borders Thanh Vân commune, Thanh Ba district; North borders Yên Kiện commune, Đoan Hùng district.

3. Determine the administrative boundary of Tân Đức commune under Việt Trì city, Phú Thọ province. Tân Đức commune under Việt Trì city, Phú Thọ province has 454.08 hectares of natural area and 2,721 population.

Administrative boundary of Tân Đức commune: East borders Minh Nông commune, Việt Trì city; West borders Cao Xá commune, Lâm Thao district and Thụy Vân commune, Việt Trì city; South borders Cổ Đô commune, Ba Vì district, Hà Nội city; North borders Minh Nông commune, Thụy Vân commune, Việt Trì city.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries of communes:

- Phú Mỹ commune remains with 1,016.22 hectares of natural area and 4,831 population.

Phù Ninh district has 15,637.32 hectares of natural area and 98,202 population, including 19 direct administrative units, namely communes: Trạm Thản, Tiên Phú, Liên Hoa, Vĩnh Phú, Trung Giáp, Bảo Thanh, Trị Quận, Hạ Giáp, Gia Thanh, Phú Nham, Phú Lộc, Tiên Du, Phù Ninh, An Đạo, Tứ Đà, Bình Bộ, Phú Mỹ, Lệ Mỹ and Phong Châu town.

- Thanh Vân commune remains with 611 hectares of natural area and 2,824 population.

Thanh Ba district has 19,503.43 hectares of natural area and 112,589 population, including 27 direct administrative units, namely communes: Đồng Xuân, Lương Lỗ, Hanh Cù, Yển Khê, Vũ Yến, Phương Lĩnh, Mạn Lạn, Hoàng Cương, Thanh Xá, Chí Tiên, Sơn Cương, Đỗ Sơn, Thanh Hà, Đông Thành, Khải Xuân, Võ Lao, Quảng Nạp, Ninh Dân, Yên Nội, Thái Ninh, Đông Lĩnh, Đại An, Năng Yên, Đỗ Xuyên, Thanh Vân, Vân Lĩnh and Thanh Ba town.

After determining the administrative boundary of Tân Đức commune: Việt Trì city has 11,098.83 hectares of natural area and 176,349 population, including 23 direct administrative units, namely wards: Bạch Hạc, Thanh Miếu, Thọ Sơn, Tiên Cát, Nông Trang, Văn Cơ, Bến Gót, Gia Cẩm, Tân Dân, Hữu Lâu and communes: Thụy Vân, Minh Nông, Minh Phương, Vân Phú, Phượng Lâu, Sông Lô, Trưng Vương, Hy Cương, Chu Hóa, Thanh Đình, Hùng Lô, Kim Đức, Tân Đức.

Administrative boundary of Việt Trì city: East borders Lập Thạch district, Vĩnh Tường district, Vĩnh Phúc province; West borders Lâm Thao town, Hùng Sơn town, Tiên Kiên commune, Thạch Sơn commune, Lâm Thao district; South borders Cao Xá commune, Sơn Vi commune, Lâm Thao district and Ba Vì district, Hà Nội city; North borders Phù Ninh commune, An Đạo commune, Tứ Đà commune and Vĩnh Phú commune, Phù Ninh district.

Phú Thọ province has 353,294.93 hectares of natural area and 1,345,498 population, including 275 commune-level administrative units. Administrative boundary of Phú Thọ province: East borders Vĩnh Phúc province and Hà Nội city; West borders Sơn La province; South borders Hòa Bình province; North borders Yên Bái province and Tuyên Quang province.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect 45 days from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phú Thọ province and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
