Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Maritime Code of Vietnam dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to the Law on the Sea of Vietnam dated June 21, 2012;

Pursuant to the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 15, 2004;

Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Law of Vietnam dated June 29, 2006;

Based on the Fisheries Law dated November 26, 2003;

Pursuant to Decree No. 21/2012/NĐ-CP dated March 21, 2012 of the Government on management of seaports and maritime channels;

At the proposal of the Minister of Transport,

The Prime Minister promulgates the Regulation on coordination for search and rescue at sea and in port water areas.

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Regulation on coordination for search and rescue at sea and in port water areas.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from March 10, 2014, replacing Decision No. 103/2007/QD-TTg dated July 12, 2007 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Regulation on coordination for search and rescue at sea.

Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-attached agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, and Chairman of the National Committee for Search and Rescue are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
