Circular No. 09/2018/TT-BKHCN amends and supplements certain provisions of Circular No. 09/2016/TT-BKHCN dated June 9, 2016, issued by the Minister of Science and Technology, concerning the procedures for issuing permits to transport dangerous goods which are oxidizing substances, organic peroxides (Class 5), and corrosive substances (Class 8) via road, rail, and inland waterway transportation under the responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

1. Amending Point l Clause 1 Article 4 as follows:

Pursuant to Decree No. 95/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 16, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

"l) A cleaning plan for equipment and the implementation of environmental protection requirements after the completion of the transportation of dangerous goods, signed and stamped with confirmation by the organization or individual applying for the Dangerous Goods Transportation Permit in accordance with Model 3. PALSTB in the Appendix attached to this Circular."ưở2. Replacing Model 3. PALSTB with Model 3. PALSTB in the Appendix attached to this Circular.

3. Abolishing Point i Clause 1 Article 4; Point b Clause 2 Article 6 and Item 5 of Model 6. BCHĐVC in the Appendix attached to this Circular.of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home AffairstransportationdevelopmentDangerous goods include oxidizing substances, organic peroxides (class 5), and corrosive substances (class 8), transported by road, rail, and inland waterway means of transport under the responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

This Circular shall take effect from August 15, 2018.

The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from August 15, 2018.

Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation

The Minister, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.
