Issuing the Regulation on the organization and operation

of the Issuance and Treasury Department

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated December 12, 1997, and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 10/2003/QH11 dated June 17, 2003;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

At the proposal of the Director of the Issuance and Treasury Department and the Head of the Organization and Cadres Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. The Rules on the Organization and Operation of the Issuance and Treasury Department are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The Decisions No. 1536/2004/QĐ-NHNN dated December 2, 2004 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on the issuance of the Rules on the Organization and Operation of the Issuance and Treasury Department, No. 12/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated March 22, 2006 on amending the Rules on the Organization and Operation of the Issuance and Treasury Department, and No. 1656/QĐ-NHNN dated November 17, 2005 on establishing the Counterfeit Prevention Unit under the Issuance and Treasury Department of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam shall cease to be effective.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Organization and Cadres Department, the Issuance and Treasury Department, and the Heads of relevant units under the State Bank of Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
