CIRCULAR

Issuing the Master's Degree Training Regulations

Pursuant to the Education Law on June 14, 2005; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Education Law on November 25, 2009;

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 115/2010/NĐ-CP dated December 24, 2010 of the Government stipulating responsibilities for state management of education;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Higher Education,

The Minister of Education and Training hereby decides:

Article 1. To issue the Master's Degree Training Regulations along with this Circular.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from April 15, 2011. This Circular replaces Decision No. 45/2008/QĐ-BGDĐT dated August 5, 2008 of the Minister of Education and Training on the Master's Degree Training Regulations and Circular No. 08/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated April 21, 2009 of the Minister of Education and Training amending and supplementing certain articles of the Master's Degree Training Regulations issued together with Decision No. 45/2008/QĐ-BGDĐT dated August 5, 2008.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of the Higher Education Department, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, and Heads of educational institutions entrusted or permitted to train at the master's degree level are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
