Regarding the establishment of the Academy of Policy and Development under the Ministry of Planning and Investment

PRIME MINISTER
Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law on June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Circular No. 12725/TTr-BGDĐT dated December 4, 2007 regarding the establishment of the Academy of Policy and Development,
DECISION:
Article 1. Establish the Academy of Policy and Development under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Article 2. The Academy of Policy and Development is a university-level institution directly under the Ministry of Planning and Investment and subject to state management in education by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Academy of Policy and Development is a public service unit with legal personality, its own seal, and a separate bank account in accordance with the law; its headquarters is located in Bac Ninh province.
Article 3. The Academy of Policy and Development operates in accordance with the Charter of a University issued by the Prime Minister.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
