ISSUING THE REGULATIONS ON DEPOSITORY OF PUBLICATIONS

THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION

WHEREAS, the Law on Publishing dated December 3, 2004 and Decree No. 111/2005/NĐ-CP of March 26, 2005 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Publishing;

WHEREAS, Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP of June 11, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLISHING AGENCY,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE "REGULATIONS ON DEPOSITORY OF PUBLICATIONS".

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE Decision No. 01/1998/QĐ/BVHTT dated July 30, 1998 of the Minister of Culture and Information issuing the Regulations on Depository of Publications.

Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY'S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLISHING AGENCY, THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION OF THE PROVINCES AND MUNICIPALITIES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF PUBLISHING HOUSES, AND THE HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS PERMITTED TO PUBLISH SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
